Green Day co-founder and bassist Mike Dirnt has teamed up with Epiphone to launch a signature version of the legendary Gibson Grabber G-3 bass. The Epiphone Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3 features a double-cutaway maple body and a 34-inch scale, three-piece maple neck. Depending on the finish, the fretboard is either ebony or maple, and it’s fitted with 20 medium jumbo frets and black abalone dot inlays.

At the headstock, the classic Grabber “V™” shape is matched with open-gear tuners and vintage-style clover buttons, along with a bone nut for enhanced resonance. On the other end, a Leo Quan® Badass II™ bridge delivers powerful attack, sustain, and full adjustability. Strings run through the body and are anchored with ferrules on the back, contributing to the bass’s rich tone and lasting sustain. Three Gibson G-3 pickups, crafted in Nashville at the Gibson Pickup Shop, are wired in a unique “buck-and-a-half” configuration. Each Epiphone Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3 comes with a hard-shell case, ready to hit the road—whether you’re heading to the studio or gearing up for a global tour.
